Who we are

Deturk Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that aims to empower young men and women through our network, voluntarism, workshops and programs that foster excellence and self-reliance by providing educational support, mentoring and more. We strive to be the force of impact in fostering excellence in the areas of education, health, and social well-being in urban and diverse communities, ensuring that the needs and hopes of those we serve are met.

Our Mission

We believe that every human has been endowed by God with great and unique potentials and when nurtured, would go a long way to make the world a better place. That is why we strive to make an impact in the lives of others and equip them with the necessary skills to become self-reliant through our network, voluntourism, workshops and programs that foster excellence and self-reliance, achieve this through educational support, mentoring and more.

To deliver relevant programs for youth that will aid in their successful development
To Provide opportunities and the platform for generous families
To provide educational scholarships for children with defined criteria, and track the success of programs related to education
To partner and build alliances with public and private organizations to provide opportunities and resources that will broaden every person's experience via mentoring and community programs that strengthen their intellectual, health and social well being
To introduce and pair children to community leaders as mentors; through group and one-on-one mentoring programs
Individuals who want to embark on adventures to explore and make an impact in the world through humanitarian work
